Arizona Farmers' Market Nutrition Program Certification

Hello Local Growers!

There will be a certification training for the AZ Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program on Monday, June 22 at 1 p.m. at the Community Food Bank.

This training is highly recommended for any grower who supplies fruits and vegetables to the Food Bank’s Community Food Consignment Program. During this time of year, many customers of the Community Food Bank farmers’ markets use these vouchers, which they receive through the WIC and Senior Food Plus Programs. The Community Food Bank is technically not allowed to sell produce to voucher holders unless it has been provided by a certified grower.
